Edward George Bulwer Lytton, an English novelist, once wrote, "The pen is mightier than the sword." We agree!

One of our greatest weapons is the protest letter. Members and supporters of ALQ have for many years been wielding their mighty pens for animals. To ensure as many letters as possible on all animal issues are sent from as many places in Qld as possible, we ask that you please consider joining our ALQ writing group.

This group has two parts to it, the first involves the writing of letters to the editors of various newspapers in Qld and nationwide and the second part involves the writing of submissions/responses to government policies. Both parts are important to make changes to attitudes and legislation happen.

Group members will be alerted to animal issues in the news where a published response could promote Animal Liberation Qld and/or our issues and campaigns. Additionally notification will be sent advising of any government legislation/initiatives that need submissions written on behalf of the animals.

Then we just ask that you get writing!
